How do you fix a door knob so it will lock? (On a bedroom door)?
l wanna lock my bedroom door, but when you turn the little thing to lock
it, it does not lock. l know it locks because I've done it before, but l
think someone took it apart and fixed it so it won't. Any help? (tell me
if you need more details)
Buy another door knob......
Put another lockset on the door.
lets see there is something they have done to the door jam part
you have to look at it. they coudl have broken it but you have to check
that. you can also get a hoook and eye type of screw they can lock inside
your room. it will help till you get it fixed. i mean if you hae boy
firend sometimes they can help show you how to fix it.
Take it apart, and screw everything in tightly. If that doesn't
work, try to use somethign slippery for the insides. It is probably just
rusty and hard.
Well, if they took out parts. You would have to find them and
re-assemble them.
Easier way is just to buy a cheap on from the hardware store and follow
the directions on the package.
Get a new one.
